Dukeは、joH（ Lord, Lady ）で代用しました。
Yorkはクリンゴン語に音訳すると、yo'rIq（ヨゥッ・リク）となります。
neither 〜 nor … は、〜 'ej … je 'e' vangbe'（〜と…もしない）という風にしましたが、ちょっと微妙です。

ヨーク公フレデリック・オーガスタス（1763-1827）は英国王ジョージ三世の第二子。
軍人としては有能だったそうでスが、この歌のせいで無能な指揮官のイメージをもたれてるそうでス（笑）。
ちなみに Duke of York には、イギリスでは俗語で「コルク栓」の意味があります。
