It is a great pleasure for us that the exhibition of these 300 children’s works, paintings and calligraphies are organized here in Florence in Palagio di Parte Guelfa.

Florence has the most brilliant history.   It’s the center of the culture and the art, as everyone knows.   We very much appreciate the exhibition in this place.

We, Amici d’Italia a Nagoya, wish to offer our sincere gratitude to all the parties who have helped to organize this exhibition, including the Commune of Florence, International Relations and Public Education offices, the Japanese Cultural Institute in Rome and all the others.

Ｋooh!

This Chinese letter means the space, the cosmos and the future.   We selected this theme wishing to all the children in the world have a cosmic-wide-wonderful future. Every child has its own image to express his or her idea against the Kooh.   They put their image of Florence, Italy in their mind when they were paintings and writing calligraphies.   10 or 20 years later, they would say to their children "Your mammy's painting was shown in Italy," or "Your daddy's calligraphy has been in Florence."   In the future, they will recall this exhibition here in Florence time after time.

In conclusion we, Amici d’Italia Nagoya, want to express the special thanks to the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation, its President and its all staffs.   They have given the wonderful possibility to all the children to share their dreams of peace and joy.   They have very much encouraged us to realize this wonderful exhibition and we sincerely wish them always future satisfaction and success in their activity of International Integration.

May all the children be the children of Kooh!    Thank you.

Amici d’Italia a Nagoya

Kooh! sinifica semplicemente il cielo ma questa ideogramma può sinificare anche lo spazio, il cosmo e il futuro.

Abbiamo scelto il titolo -Kooh!- proprio per augurare uno splendido futuro a tutti i bambini del mondo.

300 bambini giapponesi hanno dipinto ed eseguito opere di calligrafia.   In ogni momento in cui stavano dipingendo o scrivendo in calligrafia hanno rivolto i loro pensieri all'Italia e a Firenze.

Loro non dimenticheranno mai di l'Italia e Firenze.   Anzi dopo 10 o 20 anni potranno dire ai loro figli che la pittura della mamma e stata in Italia, oppure che la calligrafia di papa e stata a Firenze.

Per loro questo diventera un grande ricordo per anni e anni.   Volevamo venire in Italia anche con tutti questi bambini giapponesi ma naturalmente non e stato possibile, anche se e come se loro ci fossero ugualmente, attraverso le loro opere.

Alla fine del nostro saluto noi -Amici d' Italia a Nagoya- vogliamo ringraziare sopra tutto la   Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco, il suo presidente e tutto il suo staff organizzativo.

Loro ci hanno dato gran forza ed un immenso aiuto per poter realizzare questo nostro sogno!

Auguriamo vivamente che la loro bellissima attività possa prosperare e svilupparsi sempre di piu, seminando cosi nei loro scambi culturali la pace e la gioia tra i giovani nel mondo.
